Abdullahi is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), past Chapter Chairman and a Chartered Management Practitioner.

Described as clever, adept and contemporary, Abdullahi can create novel solutions, takes proficiency seriously and tries to stay relevant. He is creative, visionary and entrepreneurial where he comes with fresh solutions to the table sometimes surprising people with fresh perspectives and also thwarts tradition. He has a gift for turns of phrase and has shown ample understanding of the creative use of emotional power.

He is an Accredited Trainer of the Centre for Management Development (Nigeria), a Senior Tony Buzan Licensed Instructor (UK) and a Biggerplate (UK) Certified Mind Mapper. He is an expert who advocates mental literacy through creativity, wholebrain thinking, mind-mapping and accelerated learning through his firm - MindZone Ltd. He passionately believes learning is the foundational skill.

His working experience spans across the private and public sector including almost a decade and a half in banking - United Bank for Africa Plc, Standard Trust Bank Plc, First Atlantic Bank Plc and FinBank Plc. He was a past MD/CEO of the state-owned Kaduna Industrial & Finance Company Ltd (Investment House)for about three years.

He holds a Bsc and an MBA from Bayero University, Kano and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Nigeria respectively; he was once an Adjunct Faculty Member of the Kaduna Business School and is currently a Doctoral candidate of the Swiss Management Center University.

Abdullahi is also a compulsive learner and dreamer addicted to personal development targeted towards human transformation.

He loves contributing and giving back, lifelong learning, business partnerships, management, employee wellbeing/welfare, stoicism/ego detachment, morals and ethics, life transitions, intelligent discourse, arts/music, reading, writing, sketching, watching movies and hates injections.
