Emmanuel Simon Bawa is a trained Computer Scientist with about a decade of experience in learning and development, project management, program development, business re-engineering, information technology solutions, and product management among other areas. ES. Bawa as he is called, has consulted for about 200 verifiable businesses and organizations within and outside Nigeria in the last 5 years alone.

He has supported, coordinated, and monitored various projects including the commonwealth equality project funded by FCDO, YouLead project funded by Global Affairs Canada, Alpha Institute Project in Jamaica funded by Cuso International Canada, NNPC Eagle project, Nigerian Customs Service’ Project Green, the Directorate of Road Traffic Service online payment platforms, among others.

He is the 2023 recipient of the TARA award in recognition of his creation of tekbro.ng and the impact it is making. In 2021, he was awarded the impact and innovation award by Westminster Foundation for Democracy. He is also the 2018 recipient of the Most Valuable National Award by Cuso International Nigeria for his use of technology to improve the results of the Global Affairs Canada-funded YouLEAD project.

He has been a training resource person for organizations including Nigerian Ports Authority, Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Center for Innovation in Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards (CIPESS), The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Teachers Connect, ECOWAS Kings Patriot Network, Back2Back Ministries, Cerca Africa, and Miriam Gofwan Foundation among others.

He is currently a business coach with Cerca Africa, Learning and Development Coordinator at Motherboard Partners; a training, management and research firm as well as the Chief Technology Officer at Motherboard Consult; an IT, branding and advertising firm. He also coordinates a holiday tech hubs which train teenagers in the use and mastery of various technologies while also engaging community development programs with Rhoda Rose Foundation which he co-founded.
